About Marina Miranda Creative, LLC
About Marina:
Marina Miranda is a multi-hyphenate creative who infuses black joy, vulnerability and mental wellness in all of her creative endeavors. She is a Milwaukee-based freelance content creator, dancer, skater, graphic designer, social media manager, podcaster, pet sitter and more. She is obsessed with animals, a good chicken wing (aha) and the village she’s cultivated.
Marina has been dancing since she was about 8 years old and skating since she was about 10 years old. During the pandemic, Marina started taking her dancing and skating endeavors more seriously as they were very advantageous for her mental and physical health. She recently starred as Anika the Granny in “The Dancing Granny” play at first stage and is currently a member of Ko-Thi Dance Company where she will perform with the company for her third time in 2023. In her free time, she collaborates with creatives around Milwaukee to bring their ideas to life. Most recently, she co-choreographed and directed a dance visual to “Have Mercy” by Chloe. In 2021, she cohosted the Milwaukee Info Hub’s Inaugural Skate Meetup At Dineen Park.
Marina graduated from Marquette University in 2016 with a degree in Advertising. Even though she did not enter the advertising industry immediately after college, she has applied the skills she learned in her other pursuits.
Marina is a patient and enthusiastic teacher who loves what she does. If you work with her, you won't be disappointed!

About ‘Be Sad; Keep Going’ Wellness Apparel line:
In 2023, Marina created a wellness apparel line for MMCLLC entitled “Be Sad; Keep Going.” ‘Be Sad; Keep Going,’ is a powerful reminder that it’s important to feel our emotions, in order to avoid letting them take control of our lives and keep us from moving forward. Taking the time to feel and process our emotions allows us to build up the resilience within ourselves to overcome life’s challenges
The message of "Be Sad; Keep Going” is inspired by Marina’s mom who she lost to suicide in 2017. Before her passing, her mom reminded her that no matter what happened to her, it was okay to be sad about it, but she needed to keep going. Marina hopes to share this message of hope with others through this apparel line.
